The second day will focus on the specific Asian theme of our congress, namely “Understanding Asia – Impact & Influence”. This panel will be chaired by Anita Fung, the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Hong Kong who had prior to this also headed HSBC?s Global Banking & Markets Businesses in Asia. The final panel will look specifically at the Hedge Fund industry in Asia. Besides looking at the challenges and benefits of setting up a fund in Asia, the panel of highly influential hedge fund managers will also offer their views on the markets and some trading ideas which could specifically benefit our trading participants. This panel will be chaired by Danny Yong, one of the leading Hedge Fund Managers in Asia, and will be a “closed door” session where their views will not be published.

An exciting Social Programme also awaits our delegates. Delegates can look forward to ample networking opportunities during the various social programmes specially arranged by the organising committee. In addition to the Congress Gala Dinner at the Sands Convention Centre, an Asian theme night will be held at Singapore?s new iconic Gardens by the Bay complex. Delegates will experience exciting local flavours and culture within a massive flower dome. While the Business sessions are taking place, the Accompanying persons will also enjoy a wonderful programme showcasing the multi-cultural and mutli-racial facets of Singapore. More information on the social programmes are available on the website.

We trust that you are as excited as we are with the programmes, both business & social, that delegates and accompanying persons will experience during the 52nd ACI World Congress, and we look forward to welcoming all of you to Singapore in March 2013. In this respect, we would also be grateful if you could circulate this update to all your national members, encouraging them to join us at the event.
